The College is situated in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, and comes under Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham which was established in 1996. The institute is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and has been accredited with Grade A by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC).
